Salary: $110,000 +bonuses

Role Overview:

As the Manager of Sales at Associated Fire Safety Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and ensuring the growth and success of our business. Your responsibilities will include building strong client relationships, maximizing revenue, and leading a dynamic sales team. Additionally, you will be tasked with fostering a trustworthy environment within the sales team and developing a deep understanding of our high-quality product lines. This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for customer satisfaction and a proven track record in sales management.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and mission. Implement effective sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the team, providing guidance, motivation, and coaching to achieve individual and team targets. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.

Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the fire safety industry. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to drive business growth and expand market presence.

Sales Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of sales strategies. Regularly analyze sales data and provide reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Customer Relationship Management: Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and addressing their needs effectively. Act as a point of escalation for customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer retention.

Sales Training and Development: Develop and execute sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the territory management team.

Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market developments. Utilize market insights to identify potential growth areas and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Budget and Forecasting: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop sales budgets and revenue forecasts. Monitor and manage sales expenses to ensure adherence to the budget.

Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure a seamless coordination between sales and operational activities. Maintain open communication to address customer needs and optimize service delivery.


Qualifications and Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

-A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5 years in sales management, preferably in the fire safety or related industry.

-Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques.

-Familiarity with CRM software, experience with Salesforce a strong asset.

-Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite.

-Proficiency in ERP systems with demonstrated working experience. Excellent leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.

-Proven experience onboarding, training, and mentoring a team.

-Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.

-Experience in analyzing sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision making.

-Strong business acumen and a customer-centric approach to sales and relationship management.
